Congratulations to Rachael! She has been promoted to Regional Manager.
Rachael was the Registered Manager at Daleside. She started working at Daleside 13 years ago part-time whilst undertaking a honours Bachelor’s degree in Law. Rachael developed a great passion for the care of the elderly and decided to develop a career in the care sector. Rachael successfully completed her bachelor of honours degree and holds an NVQ Level 5 certificate in leadership and management and a level 3 NVQ in health and social care.
Rachael began her management career initially managing 6 intermediate care beds increasing this to 16 beds. In 2015 Rachael tendered on behalf of Daleside Nursing Home for the Rapid Community Service contract and was successfully awarded 22 Transfer to Assess beds. Her communication skills across a multidisciplinary team and commissioners have ensured that the transfer to assess provision within Daleside has an outstanding record for positive discharges. Now in 2022, she is stepping up as Regional Manager for six homes.
