We Care Group Team Member Reaches Final of Care Sector’s Got Talent

We Care Group - 12 October 2026

A talented member of the We Care Group family is preparing to take centre stage after reaching the final of the annual Care Sector’s Got Talent competition.

Ayomide David Adegbite, a self-taught saxophonist and Kitchen Assistant at Bilton Hall Nursing Home in Knaresborough, has been named one of just eight finalists from an impressive 85 original applicants, recognising his musical talent and dedication beyond his role in care.

The grand final will take place on Wednesday 7th October at the NEC Birmingham, where the finalists will perform live in front of colleagues, friends and supporters, with the overall winner taking home a £5,000 prize.

A passion for music and a talent to celebrate

David joined Bilton Hall earlier this year and has been playing the saxophone for nine years. Alongside his work supporting the home’s kitchen team, he continues to develop his musical talent, with hopes of performing for residents at an upcoming festival.

Reaching the final is a proud moment for David, who says the encouragement of his colleagues has helped inspire him throughout the competition.

“I’m very honoured to have reached the last eight in Care Sector’s Got Talent, and I’m looking forward to performing in the final. The seven other finalists have a huge amount of talent, and I’m wishing everyone the best of luck.

“I also feel very lucky to be supported by the whole team at Bilton Hall and We Care Group. Playing the saxophone is something that brings me joy, and to know the team is behind me is spurring me on.”

A proud moment for the Bilton Hall team

David’s achievement has been met with excitement across Bilton Hall, where colleagues are looking forward to cheering him on as he takes to the stage.

Krishnapillai Sivanandarajah, Manager at Bilton Hall, said: “This is an outstanding achievement for David, and we’re all very excited for his final performance. We know how hard he works, not only in his role as Kitchen Assistant, but in honing his talent for the saxophone, and we’re all wishing him all the best for the final.”

At We Care Group, we are proud to celebrate the individual talents, interests and achievements of our colleagues. David’s story is a wonderful example of the diverse skills and passions within our teams, and the importance of supporting people to pursue the things that bring them happiness and fulfilment.

Everyone at We Care Group and Bilton Hall wishes David the very best of luck for the final. We look forward to seeing him shine on stage!
