Wigan care worker wins prestigious social care Award

Staff, residents and relatives at Mahogany Care Home in Wigan, which is part of the We Care Group, are delighted to hear that their administrator, Jayne Hudson has won a prestigious care award at the Great British Care Awards – North West Region.
Jayne Hudson who is the administrator at the home was nominated for the Ancillary Worker Award in recognition of the contribution she has made within the home, always willing to help around the home and take on extra responsibilities contributing to any role to support residents, families and the team. She is a reliable member of the team and a great team player.
Jayne, who attended the Great British Care Awards, North West Regional event held on Saturday 12th November at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester, and other finalists from across the region were announced as the WINNER in the category of Ancillary Worker Award. She will now progress to the national finals of the Great British Care Awards 2023 taking place on Friday 17th March 2023 at the ICC in Birmingham.
Jessy Gaskell, Manager at Mahogany Care Home said “Everyone at Mahogany Care Home is absolutely over the moon that Jayne won the Ancillary Worker Award, we are all so proud of her.” She continued. “It was wonderful to be at the prestigious event and celebrate Jayne’s success with her. We are all looking forward to cheering her on at the national finals in March 2023.”
