Woolton Care Home Has Been Shortlisted For Prestigious National Award

Residents and staff at Woolton Grange Care Home in Woolton Village are celebrating as their Catering Team has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award, Catering Team of the Year, at the Caring UK Awards, which recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.
The Catering Team at Woolton Grange play a vital part of life in the home and the team know how important mealtimes can be for people living in a care home and are passionate about providing healthy, well balanced, enticing and well-presented meals to stimulate even the most challenging of appetites, enhancing the quality of lives of the residents. It is great that they have been shortlisted.
An awards spokesperson said: “Never has there been a more appropriate time to recognise the amazing and selfless contribution that our care workers make and how they have given so much to protect and care for their residents in the face of unprecedented challenges.”
The awards are organised by Script Events in conjunction with leading care industry magazine Caring UK, with support from headline sponsor Virgin Money. In each category up to seven finalists have been selected and they will now go through to the next stage of the judging process. The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony, hosted by Emmerdale actor Dean Andrews, at The Athena in Leicester on Thursday 1st December when the industry will gather to salute all that is great about the caring sector and recognise the amazing contribution it makes throughout the year
