From delivering exceptional care to creating enriching experiences for our residents, these nominations are a true testament to their outstanding contributions to health and social care.

The Caring UK Awards celebrate the very best in the care sector, and we are immensely proud to have six finalists this year! With the awards ceremony taking place at The Athena, Leicester on December 5th, 2024, we couldn’t be more excited to cheer on our talented team members. Dementia Care Team of the Year – Douglas Bank Nursing Home

The dementia care team at Douglas Bank Nursing Home has been recognised as finalists for Dementia Care Team of the Year, reflecting their incredible dedication to providing specialised, compassionate care for those living with dementia. The team’s person-centred approach, combined with their deep understanding of dementia, ensures that each resident receives the care and support they need to live with dignity and respect. Their creativity in providing stimulating, therapeutic activities tailored to residents’ needs has transformed the lives of many, and this nomination is a well-deserved tribute to their exceptional work.

North Care Home of the Year – Tudor Bank Care Home

Last but certainly not least, Tudor Bank Care Home has been named a finalist for North Care Home of the Year! This recognition celebrates the home’s commitment to excellence in all areas of care having received ‘Outstanding’ in their last two CQC inspections.
